- The Calvert Hotel, 216 7th Avenue South, Lewistown, MT 59457. Phone 406-535-5411.
- Yogo Inn, 211 East Main Street, MT 59457. Phone 406-535-8721. Under active renovation. Its own site warns that certain areas or amenities may be shut on a building over a century old, and asks guests to ring about specific facilities. Worth a call before booking.
- Super 8 by Wyndham Lewistown, 102 Wendell Avenue, MT 59457. Phone 406-708-4541. Note the Chamber’s directory gives a different address for this one, which appears to be the Chamber’s own; the Wyndham address above is the correct one.
- The Fergus Hotel, 520 East Main Street, MT 59457. Phone 406-535-5496. Formerly the B&B Motel, and still trading online under that name — its website makes no mention of the Fergus name at all. Same address, same phone, one property. You may find it listed twice.
- Judith Mountain Lodge, 6300 Limekiln Road, MT 59457. Phone 406-538-7063. Six miles out of town, and its dining room and bar run Wednesday to Saturday and for special events only, so plan meals accordingly.
- Trails Inn Motel, phone 406-535-5468. The Chamber’s directory shows two conflicting addresses for this one, so we are not publishing either. Ring to confirm where it is before booking.
The two dates that fill the town
- Chokecherry Festival, Saturday 12 September 2026. Always the first Saturday after Labor Day, and it draws more than 5,000 people. Against six properties, book months out.
- Montana Winter Fair, 16 to 18 January 2026, at 1000 US-191. Worth flagging because it moved to Lewistown from Bozeman, where it had run since 1946, so older guides will not mention it as a Lewistown event at all.
Lewistown sits at the geographic centre of Montana. It is often described as a highway crossroads stopover, but we could not confirm that framing from the Chamber or the regional tourism body, so treat it as local colour rather than fact.
