Antalya Airport Transfer Cost 2026: Tram, Taxi and Two Tariff Zones

Antalya Airport has a tram running to it, which most guides still do not mention. Line T1A serves Terminal 1 directly, and a ride costs 42 TL with an AntalyaKart. A taxi starts at 40 TL on the meter and adds 50 TL a kilometre, with a 200 TL minimum. Those are the March 2026 rates, and almost every figure you will find elsewhere is at least one increase out of date.

The bigger trap is not the fare. It is that Antalya now runs two different taxi tariffs, and the one that applies to Side, Manavgat and Alanya is 40 percent more per kilometre than the one that applies in the city.

Public transport fares, and the card that keeps your transfers

Antalya Ulasim charges three different prices for the same ride, depending on how you pay. These took effect on 23 March 2026.

The operator’s wording on the last two rows is blunt. No transfer is applied on single use card or credit card boardings, and no discount either.

That is worth more than the eight lira. With an AntalyaKart your transfer is free between 5 and 60 minutes on buses and minibuses, and between 5 minutes and 2 hours on the tram. Tapping your own bank card gives all of that up.

Transfers used to cost 7.50 TL. The same March 2026 decision made them free for card holders, which is a change almost no guide has picked up.

The exclusions are worth knowing. Transfers do not apply between two services with the same route number, on M plate vehicles, or on certain terminal routes.

The tram: line T1A, and it only serves Terminal 1

The airport describes the route as Airport to Meydan to Fatih. It links the terminal, the city centre and the intercity bus station in one ride.

The stop order from the airport runs Havalimani, Yonca Kavsak, Sinan, Yenigol, Altinova, Demokrasi, Topcular, Kisla, Meydan, Burhanettin Onat, Dogu Garaji, Ismetpasa, Muratpasa, Sarampol, and on to Otogar and Fatih.

Ismetpasa is the stop for Kaleici and the old town. Meydan is the central square. Otogar is the intercity coach station, which matters if you are heading onward to Side or Alanya by bus.

Terminal 2 has no tram stop. If you land there, take the free shuttle to Terminal 1 first.

The free inter terminal shuttle

The airport’s own page states it plainly. The shuttle stops are in front of the Departures areas of the terminals, and the shuttles depart every 20 minutes.

Departures, not Arrivals. If you have just landed and need the other terminal, go up rather than out.

Airport management told local press in October 2025 that the ring actually runs 24 hours at 15 minute intervals, so plan for something between 15 and 20 minutes and you will be fine. The two international terminals are about 2.5 km apart, roughly a five minute drive.

This service is newer than most guides realise. It launched in April 2025 after public complaints. Before that there was no free inter terminal transport at all and passengers had to pay for a taxi or find a city bus. Any page telling you that you must pay to move between T1 and T2 is describing the situation before April 2025.

Taxis, and the two tariff zones

Antalya’s taxi meter rates were reset by a Metropolitan Municipality Council decision effective at midnight on 23 March 2026. There are two zones.

The central zone covers Muratpasa, Kepez, Konyaalti, Dosemealti and Aksu. The airport is in that zone, so a run into the city is priced at the lower rate.

The outer zone covers fourteen districts including Alanya, Gazipasa, Manavgat and Kas. That is where the higher rate bites, and it is exactly where most package holidaymakers are heading. Any guide quoting one Antalya taxi rate for an airport to Alanya run is wrong by 40 percent per kilometre.

At the airport, ranks sit in front of the arrivals exit at every terminal, all drivers carry an airport ID card, and a tariff board is displayed at the rank. Check the board against the table above.

Uber and BiTaksi

Uber operates at Antalya Airport. In Turkey the product is licensed yellow taxis rather than private cars, so an Uber here is a metered taxi you booked in an app. Uber Reserve allows pre booking with flight tracking.

BiTaksi lists Antalya among its covered cities.

Neither publishes a designated airport pickup bay. Uber’s guidance is generic kerbside collection at the terminal you specify. Follow the app rather than looking for a signed rideshare zone.

Buses

The operator’s route list shows 600G running Terminal to Havaalani and 800 running Havalimani to Sampi Kavsagi, alongside the T1A tram. Some guides list a plain 600 and a 400. Those do not appear on the current list.

All Antalya Ulasim services take AntalyaKart or a contactless bank card at the fares above.

One thing the airport is clear about. Minibuses to Aspendos, Side, Manavgat, Alanya and Kemer do not run from the airport. They run from separate stations, and the airport routes you to the Otogar for those. The tram gets you there.

How far is your resort

No official distance table exists. These come from commercial transfer operators and should be treated as approximate.

Kemer is the one to be careful with. Sources differ between 45 and 55 km because the coast road around the bay is longer than the map suggests.

If you are on a package, look for a letter not a logo

Since 30 July 2026 travel agencies may no longer display company signage in the arrivals meeting area. Passengers are directed instead to thirteen lettered plexiglass welcome stations, A to M.

Any guide telling you to look for your tour operator’s sign is now wrong, and the change has caused real confusion for arriving passengers. Ask your operator which letter they are using before you fly.

Which option fits your trip

What we could not confirm

• Any airport surcharge on taxis. No official source publishes one and we are not printing a figure for it.
• Exact current tram frequency. The 15 minute figure is the best available; the official Antray timetable site would not load.
• Tram journey time specifically to Ismetpasa. Only the full 48 minute end to end run is sourced.
• Bus first and last times, and whether 600G and 800 call at both terminals.
• Exact Uber and BiTaksi pickup points at the airport.
• Whether a night tariff applies to Antalya taxis. One commercial source says there is none. No municipal source confirms it.

Two figures are genuinely disputed in the local press. Three outlets report the per kilometre rate at 50 TL and one at 45 TL. Four report flag fall at 40 TL and one at 50 TL. We have published the majority figure in each case and flag the disagreement rather than hide it.

What is out of date elsewhere

• Taxi rates of 25 TL flag fall and 30 TL per km. That is the June 2024 tariff, superseded twice since.
• Bus fares of 20 TL and 25 TL. Those date from May 2024.
• Tram fares quoted separately from bus fares. There is no separate tram tariff.
• A 7.50 TL transfer charge. Transfers became free for card holders in March 2026.
• Antalya’s own municipal website still serves a fare tariff PDF containing a 2017 decision with fares of 2.00 to 2.60 TL. Do not cite it.

Turkish transport fares move with inflation and are revised more than once a year. Check the figure at the machine before you buy.
