Berlin Zoo Tickets: The Same Ticket Swings 16 to 25 Euros

Berlin Zoo prices dynamically, and the swing is bigger than most people expect: an adult ticket runs anywhere from €16.00 to €25.00 depending on the date. Picking a quieter day can nearly halve the cost.

Each ticket adds an optional €0.50 conservation contribution, which you can deselect. No booking fee, and online always beats the gate. Booking is not mandatory — the booths are open — and the combined ticket carries no time slot, though it must be used on the same day.

The discount that vanished

The Berlin WelcomeCard no longer covers Zoo Berlin or the Aquarium. The card’s own partner page says the zoo has withdrawn from the scheme. Plenty of guidebooks still promise a discount that does not exist.

Zoo Berlin is not Tierpark Berlin

These get confused constantly. Tierpark Berlin is a different, larger zoo out in Friedrichsfelde, with its own separate ticket. An annual pass at one gives 50% off the other. Dogs are allowed at Tierpark and not at Zoo Berlin.

Open 9am to 6.30pm at the end of August, last admission 5pm. Open year-round.
