The €18 ticket is a single ticket for all open spaces of the Fondation and the Jardin d’Acclimatation. People routinely buy a separate garden ticket they already own.

Timed entry, and it is strict
Booking is mandatory and every ticket carries an admission time. You are expected to enter within about 30 minutes of it. The shuttle bus is a separate paid service, so allow for the journey out to the Bois de Boulogne rather than assuming it is included.
Liquids, including water bottles, are not allowed inside the building. Galleries begin clearing 15 minutes before closing.
Check the hours before you travel
Closed Tuesdays. Beyond that, opening hours shift between exhibitions and the Fondation has run reduced hours during changeovers. Look at the official site the week you go rather than trusting a schedule published months earlier, including this one.
