Seville Cathedral Tickets: El Salvador Is Already Included

People pay twice at Seville Cathedral all the time, because they do not realise the ticket already covers another church across town.

What €13 buys

• €13 online, €14 at the ticket office, from 1 January 2026. Reduced €7 / €8.
• Covers the Cathedral, the Giralda, and the Church of El Salvador — which costs €7 on its own if you buy it separately by mistake.
• Extra: audio guide €5, guided tour €20, and the rooftop tours, which are a separate booked experience.

The €1 online saving is an official two-tier price, not a reseller trick.

Free on Sundays — but you must book now

Free public visiting runs Sundays 16:30 to 18:00, holidays excepted, with limited capacity — and it now requires prior online reservation. Guides telling you to simply turn up and queue are describing the old arrangement.

The Giralda has ramps, and that does not mean easy

The cathedral’s own account is that the Giralda “was not conceived with stairs”: 35 interior ramps, built wide enough to ride a horse up, with only 17 steps at the very top into the bell chamber.

That is a wonderful fact and a bad reason to assume accessibility. There is no lift, and it is a long unbroken climb with very little to rest against. A ramp is not the same thing as a step-free route to the top.

Hours are Monday to Saturday 11:00–18:00 and Sunday 14:30–19:00, with access and the Giralda closing an hour before; July and August open earlier. The Chapter warns hours may change without notice for worship, and publishes no annual closure list. El Salvador closes on Sundays in July and August.
