Capitoline Museums Tickets: The Combined Card Costs 50 Cents More
The Capitolini Card costs 15.50 euros against 15.00 for the standard ticket and adds Centrale Montemartini for seven days. Wednesdays are half price late on.

The standard Capitoline ticket does not include Centrale Montemartini. The combined Capitolini Card does — and costs 50 cents more.
€15.00 for the Capitoline Museums alone; €15.50 for both, valid seven days. Buying the plain ticket when you intend to see both is the classic mistake here.
Prices for non-residents

Two ways to pay less
Wednesdays, last two opening hours: 50% off for non-residents. And the reduced band here is ages 6 to 25 — broader than the usual EU 18–25 rule at Italian state museums, so teenagers qualify.
The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone, and that arrangement still stands. Under-6s always free.
Staying a while? The MIC Card costs €5.00, lasts twelve months, and gives unlimited access to Rome’s whole civic museum system plus a queue skip. It pays for itself on the first visit.
What changed in February
Rome restructured civic museum pricing on 2 February 2026. Residents of Rome and the Metropolitan City now enter free with ID, and non-resident pricing was rebuilt to compensate. Five previously free civic museums began charging.
Open daily 9.30am to 7.30pm, last entry 6.30pm. Closed 1 May and 25 December. Booking is optional. Roma Pass covers your first two sites on the 72-hour card, first site only on the 48-hour.
