Harry Potter Studio Tour Tickets: There Is No Door Sale

Warner Bros Studio Tour London sells no tickets at the door and holds none back. If the site shows sold out, calling will not help. The shuttle bus is free.

The Studio Tour’s own wording is four words long: “Tickets must be booked in advance.” There is no ticket desk to try on the day, and the contact centre states plainly that it cannot hold tickets back for sold-out dates.

Which matters more here than at most attractions, because it is not in London. It is in Leavesden, about 20 miles north-west. Turning up without a ticket means a 40-minute journey to be turned away.

Prices

A UK VAT cut runs to 1 September 2026, and the Studio Tour passed it on — it even refunded people who had already booked summer dates.

TicketUntil 1 SepFrom 2 Sep
Adult 16+£51.19£58.50
Child 5–15£41.13£47.00
Family£164.52£188.00

Under-4s and carers go free. Deluxe Tours start at £250. Tickets are on sale roughly 16 months ahead, currently through 31 December 2026, and availability shows live — so the website is the truth.

Getting there, and which bus costs money

This trips people up because there are two different buses.

  • The Watford Junction shuttle is free and included with your ticket. Train from London Euston to Watford Junction takes 20 minutes direct; the shuttle is about 15 more, running at least every half hour from 9.20am. You pay only the rail fare.
  • The Golden Tours coach from central London is a separate paid product — ticket-and-transfer packages start around £94.

Driving is free to park, with priority parking bookable at £10.

Entry is a 30-minute timeslot. Not on the London Pass. Source: wbstudiotour.co.uk, checked 26 August 2026.

Sammie O publishes Germ Trips, a travel guide covering hotels, restaurants, airport transfers and chauffeur services. The guides aim for practical detail and a clear recommendation rather than an undifferentiated list. Where a town has no good option, the guides say so and point to the nearest one that does. Guides are AI drafted. A small number have been checked against official listings, and those say so on the page.
