Guides routinely describe the Dubrovnik cable car as running year-round on shorter winter hours. Per the operator’s own timetable, it does not run in winter at all.
Four months closed
December, January, February and March: closed. The season opens in April.
- April 09:00–21:00 · early May to 22:00 · late May to 23:30
- June, July, August and early September — 09:00 to midnight
- Late September to 23:00 · October to 21:00 then 20:00 · November to 17:00
And the detail that ruins sunset plans: the last departure from the lower station is 30 minutes before the posted closing time.
Price
- Adult return €30, one way €17.
- Children 4–12: return €8, one way €5. Under-4s free.
- No seasonal price variation — one list all year. Online and door prices match, and tickets are open-dated with no time slot.
Widely repeated figures of €27 return and €15 one way are out of date.
Wind stops it
The operator’s rule: if wind speed exceeds the safety threshold anywhere on the route, the cable car stops until it drops. It also ceases operating in possible lightning. No refund policy for wind stoppages is published, which is worth knowing before you buy for a specific evening.
The operator publishes nothing on wheelchair, pram or mobility access — not a good sign, but not a stated exclusion either. Payment at the lower station is by euro cash or card.
