Dubrovnik’s museums are individually priced and collectively cheap, and their closing days do not line up — which is what actually costs people museums.
The 20 euro ticket beats almost everything
- Rector’s Palace, the Cultural History Museum — €15
- Maritime Museum in Fort St John — €10 · Ethnographic Museum — €8 · Archaeological exhibitions at Revelin — €5
- Ten museums together — €20, valid seven days from the first visit.
Five euros more than the Rector’s Palace alone buys nine more museums and a week to use them. If you do not want the city walls, this beats the Dubrovnik Pass; if you do want the walls, the Pass includes all of this anyway.
The closing days
- Maritime Museum and Revelin — closed Wednesdays.
- Ethnographic Museum — closed Tuesdays.
- Rector’s Palace — open daily in summer, closed Mondays from November to March.
Three different weekdays. Pass holders with a fixed itinerary lose museums to this constantly. All close for Christmas, New Year and St Blaise’s Day on 3 February, the city’s patronal feast.
Summer hours are 09:00–18:00, winter 09:00–16:00. Free entry for county residents, under-7s, ICOM members and university students from October to June.
Two things this ticket does not cover
The Cathedral Treasury is outside the museum network entirely, and neither it nor the tourist board publishes a price or hours — we looked. And Trsteno Arboretum, the King’s Landing palace gardens 25 km up the coast, charges admission but publishes its price only as a scanned PDF we could not read. Phone before you go rather than trusting a figure online.
