Rosenborg Castle Tickets: The Crown Jewels Are Included

The Danish Crown Regalia sit in the vaults under Rosenborg, and they are included in ordinary admission. There is no separate treasury ticket and never has been, whatever a reseller tells you.

Ten-minute slots, and a card that cannot book one
Entry is allotted in ten-minute slots that sell out in season. Here is the awkward part: Copenhagen Card holders cannot book a slot online. You show the app QR at the desk and take a free ticket for whatever is available. The visitors most likely to feel covered are the ones who end up queueing.
Hours and access
Daily 10:00–17:00 for most of the year, opening at 09:00 from 27 June to 30 August, and closed Mondays from 2 November to 23 December. Closed 24 and 25 December.
Access is poor and the operator says so plainly: a four-hundred-year-old Renaissance building with no lift, narrow doorways and several staircases. Wheelchair users can reach the ground floor and the Treasury only, and need a companion.
One housekeeping note: Rosenborg’s website moved to denkongeligesamling.dk. Older links to kongernessamling.dk now return 404.
