The Uffizi inverts the usual rule. Booking ahead costs more, not less: €29 online against €25 bought at the desk on the day. The €4 difference buys you a time slot, not a discount and not extra access.

- Same-day at the ticket desk: €25.
- Booked online in advance: €29.
- Entry after 4pm, from 1 January 2026: €16.
- Uffizi with the Vasari Corridor: €43 same day, €47 in advance. Corridor entry is two hours after your Uffizi slot.
- Five-day pass covering all Uffizi Galleries sites: €40, or €58 with the Corridor.
The Pitti Palace, the Boboli Gardens and the Vasari Corridor are separate from the main ticket. Only the five-day pass bundles them.
When to pay the extra
Booking is only mandatory for EU school groups. For everyone else it is a judgement call: pay €29 in high summer to avoid a long queue, or save the €4 in low season and walk up. If you are going late in the day anyway, the €16 after-4pm rate beats both.
Closed Mondays, plus 25 December and 1 January. The Accademia also closes Mondays, so a Monday in Florence loses you both. On free-admission days you cannot book ahead at all; tickets are issued at the entrance only.
