Granada Card: It Locks In Your Alhambra Date at Checkout
The 48- and 72-hour Granada Card include a daytime Nasrid Palaces slot. But you fix the Alhambra date at purchase and cannot change it.

People reach for the Granada Card when Alhambra tickets are sold out. It can work — but it is less flexible than buying direct, not more, and that surprises everyone.
Which cards include the Nasrid Palaces
- 72-hour, €60, valid 4 days — daytime Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife.
- 48-hour, €55, valid 3 days — the same daytime Alhambra access.
- 24-hour, €50 — a night visit to the Nasrid Palaces only.
- Jardines, €50 — Alcazaba and Generalife, no Nasrid Palaces at all.
- Kids card, ages 3–11, €13.
Read those four lines carefully before buying. Two of the cards do not get you into the palaces in daylight.
The trap
At checkout you must choose both the card’s start date and a date and time for the Alhambra — and neither can be changed afterwards. You are locking in two commitments, not one. The card also draws on its own allocation, so it can sell out independently of direct sales.
What else it covers
The Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Cartuja, San Jerónimo, the Abbey of Sacromonte, the Science Park, the Fine Arts and Archaeological museums, Casa de Zafra and Cuarto Real, plus nine city bus trips and a tourist train tour. The 72-hour card adds the Bañuelo, Casa del Horno del Oro, the Maristán and the Palacio de Dar al-Horra.
At €55 against €22.27 for the Alhambra alone, roughly €33 buys you the rest of monumental Granada and the buses. If you were going to do three or four of those anyway, it is straightforwardly good value — provided you can commit to a date.
