Atomium Tickets: The Design Museum Is Already Bundled In
The 17 euro Atomium ticket already includes Design Museum Brussels, formerly ADAM. The top sphere is the restaurant and is not included.
Two bundling facts about the Atomium, in opposite directions.
The Design Museum comes free
The standard €17 ticket already includes full access to Design Museum Brussels, 150 metres away — the museum previously branded ADAM. There is no separate ADAM ticket to buy and no combi to hunt for. Guides telling you to buy an “Atomium + ADAM” combination are describing something that no longer exists.
The top sphere is not
The panoramic sphere at 95 metres is the restaurant, and no Atomium ticket includes it. It works the other way too: a restaurant booking gives you no Atomium access, because no ticket is needed to reach the restaurant. People assume the top is a free viewing deck at the end of the visit. It is a table you have to reserve.
Prices
- Adult 18–64 €17. Senior 65+ €15. Student and child over 115 cm €9. Under 115 cm free.
- Visitor with reduced mobility free; visitor with disability €9; teacher €12.
- Combined with Mini-Europe €35, or Belgian Beer World €37.
Unusually, buying at the desk is cheaper than online — online purchases carry transaction fees, the face price is the same, and there is no timed slot to secure. Your ticket is valid 10:00 to 17:30 on the chosen date.
It never closes
Open every day of the year, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day at 12:00–18:00. Any guide listing a Christmas closure is wrong.
On access: wheelchair users can reach the Panorama only. The exhibition spheres are escalators and stairs — 80 steps up, 167 down. There is an epilepsy warning for two connecting tubes and for light-and-sound exhibitions, and the lift is not recommended for anyone sensitive to motion. Under-16s must be accompanied.
