Two things worth knowing before you pay a premium for something Kew does not sell.
Kew has no priority-entrance ticket. Nothing of the kind appears on its tickets, visit or ways-to-save pages. Products marketed as “priority access to Kew” are third-party resellers repackaging standard admission. Kew sells dated, not timed, entry, so there is no queue to skip in the way there is at a timed-slot museum.
Kew Palace is already included. So are Queen Charlotte’s Cottage and the Royal Kitchens. The one thing that is genuinely extra is the Great Pagoda, sold separately on a 30-minute timeslot.
The closure that decides your date
Kew Palace, the Great Pagoda and Queen Charlotte’s Cottage close from late September 2026 until spring 2027. If the Palace is why you are going, go before then.
Prices
A summer discount runs to 1 September 2026: adult £21.85 online, with £24.50 quoted as the higher figure. Kew’s own ticket page calls £24.50 the gate price while its press release calls it the online price including the donation — the two disagree, so check what you are being charged at the point of purchase. Children 4 to 15 are £1.75 online during the offer, under-4s free, 16 to 29 £8.75, and after-4pm entry £10. The standard post-1-September adult rate is not published.
