Casa Vicens Tickets: Miss Your Slot and You Miss the Visit

Casa Vicens enforces no late entry, unlike other Gaudi houses. You can move your slot free until midnight the day before, so reschedule rather than risk it.

Gaudí’s first house is the one Gaudí site in Barcelona where arriving late means not getting in. There is no slipping into the next slot as you can at La Pedrera or Park Güell.

The useful corollary: you can move your booking free until 11.59pm the day before. If the day is looking tight, reschedule rather than gamble.

On the price, we are going to be honest

Casa Vicens does not publish a price on its website. Everything runs through a booking widget, and the ticket subdomain blocks retrieval. We checked.

Third-party sites quote €20, €22 and “from €24” — three different numbers, none official. So rather than pick one and present it as fact: expect roughly €18 to €22 and confirm on casavicens.org. If a site quotes you a firm figure with confidence, it is guessing or adding margin.

What we can confirm from the museum itself: the audio guide is free, there are three visit formats — self-guided, guided, and a “Sweet Gaudí” option — and tickets are sold only through its own online system.

Hours

April to October 9.30am to 8pm; November to March 9.30am to 6pm. Widely reported closures on 25 December and 7 to 14 January — that January week is a genuine trap and worth confirming before booking flights around it.

Note that Articket BCN does not cover Casa Vicens. Its six museums do not include it.

Source: casavicens.org, checked 26 August 2026. Prices and closure dates here are the least well-documented of any Barcelona Gaudí site, which is why we have flagged rather than fixed them.

Tours and tickets shown here are sold by GetYourGuide.

Germ Trips earns a commission if you book through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Bookings are handled by the travel company you are sent to, not by us. It never changes what we tell you about a ticket. How this works.

Sammie O

Sammie O publishes Germ Trips, a travel guide covering hotels, restaurants, airport transfers and chauffeur services. The guides aim for practical detail and a clear recommendation rather than an undifferentiated list. Where a town has no good option, the guides say so and point to the nearest one that does. Guides are AI drafted. A small number have been checked against official listings, and those say so on the page.
