The €10 ticket does not buy the church. The church is free — it is a working parish with free entry, mass in English on Saturday evenings, and a free pipe-organ concert at noon every day. The ticket is for the tower and the museum.
Tickets
- Day ticket — €10, tower and museum, 09:00 to 19:00. Students 11–18 €7, under-10s free.
- By Night — €5, tower only, 19:00 to 23:00. It runs only at Easter, in summer and at Christmas, not year-round.
- Porto.CARD holders and Porto residents get 50% off the day ticket.
Combined tickets worth knowing about: Clérigos with Palácio da Bolsa and MMIPO for €25, with Serralves for €27.20, or with the SPIRITUS show for €19.
The slot is strict
You can buy at the door and walk up. But an online ticket is enforced hard: arrive ten minutes early, and entry is refused more than five minutes after your slot. Cancellations need 48 hours’ notice; inside that it is non-refundable. Groups of ten or more must book four days ahead.
Open 365 days a year, 09:00–19:00, extending to 23:00 in the Easter, summer and Christmas seasons. Christmas Day and New Year’s Day run 11:00–19:00; Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve close at 14:00. Last entry 30 minutes before closing. The climb takes about half an hour.
