Palácio da Bolsa Tickets: You Do Not Choose Your Tour Language

You cannot wander round the Palácio da Bolsa, and you cannot pick your language. Both surprise people at the door.

Guided only, about 30 minutes

There is no self-guided option. Every visit is a guided tour of roughly half an hour, ending in the Arabian Room. Tours run in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English — but the language is assigned by order of arrival, not chosen by you. If an English group has just left, you wait or you go in Spanish.

There is also no fixed timetable. Tours depart as groups form. On special-event days capacity is capped at fifty per slot, first come first served.

Price

  • Adult €14. Students, school groups and seniors €9.50. Under-12s free with an adult, outside group bookings.
  • No online-versus-door difference is published.
  • Guides still quoting €10 to €12 are out of date.

Check before you walk over

Open 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00 from November to March, and 09:00–19:00 from April to October. There is no published list of closure days, but the building is a working chamber of commerce and posts ad-hoc closures for corporate and diplomatic events, sometimes for a week at a time. Check the availability calendar before travelling.

The €25 combined ticket with the Clérigos Tower and MMIPO is worth a look if you are doing more than one.
