Edge Tickets: Book 14 Days Out and Save a Third
Edge at Hudson Yards sells an Advance Saver from 34 dollars if you book 14 or more days ahead. Prices only rise as your date approaches.
Edge prices go one direction: up. The official line is that ticket prices increase closer to your visit date, and the Advance Saver at $34 requires booking 14 or more days ahead. General admission starts at $42.
Same deck, same experience, up to 35% less. If your dates are fixed, book early.
The tiers
- Advance Saver, 14+ days ahead: from $34
- General Admission, timed: from $42
- Flex, no time slot: from $73
- Priority Access: from $88. Annual Pass: $99
- Tri-state residents of NY, NJ or CT: from $36, applied automatically by ZIP code
Add $2 processing per ticket plus tax. Under-5s free and need no ticket; from age 5 everyone pays the same dynamic price, as there are no child, senior or student tiers.
Refunds and weather
Standard tickets are non-refundable. Cancellation Protection must be added at the moment of purchase — it cannot be bought later. Flex tickets can be moved up to two hours before.
Edge stays open in normal weather, but the outdoor sky deck can shut temporarily in severe conditions, and there is no refund for fog. The 15-minute grace period on a timed ticket is worth remembering.
City Climb is currently off sale
The exterior climb normally runs from $80 and includes deck access, so it is an upgrade rather than an add-on. Requirements are 13+ with an adult, or 18+ alone, height 4.9 to 6.7 feet, weight 65 to 310 lb.
As of 26 August 2026 the official page reads “City Climb is closed for the season. Tickets are currently off sale,” with no reopening date. That is unusual for late August, so check before building a trip around it.
