EPIC Museum Tickets: Your Ticket Includes a Second Visit
EPIC is 22 euros online against 24 at the door, and general admission includes a free return visit within 10 days. There are no original objects.

EPIC prices are unusually transparent for Dublin: €22 online, €24 at the door, stated plainly on the museum’s own site. Two things about that ticket get missed.
It buys you two visits
General admission, family and 30-day advance tickets all include a free return visit within 10 days. For a museum that genuinely needs 90 minutes and that people habitually budget 45 for, that is worth knowing before you rush it. The one ticket that does not include the return is the Super Saver.
The cheaper tiers
- Super Saver — €16. Online only, 17:00 or 17:15 entry only, no free return.
- 30-day advance — €17.60. Twenty per cent off if you book a month or more ahead.
- Children from €11, under-5s free, carers free.
Booking is recommended rather than compulsory. Walk-ups are genuinely served at €24, with pre-paid visitors given priority if the building fills.
Know what it is before you go
EPIC is a fully digital museum with no original artefacts. Twenty galleries of screens, projections and interactive rooms telling the story of Irish emigration. People who arrive expecting cases of objects are disappointed; people who know what they are walking into rate it highly. The audio guide is a €3 extra, and the free Smartify app covers much of the same ground.
Open seven days, 10:00 to 18:45 with last entry at 17:00, opening an hour earlier from June to August, and closed 24 to 26 December. Go City Dublin includes it; ICOM cardholders get in free. Lifts to every level, a quiet room, sensory kits and free carer entry.
