Duomo di Milano Tickets: The Rooftop Is Not Included
Cathedral entry and the Duomo rooftop terraces are separate tickets, and stairs or lift is priced differently. Plus the Wednesday museum closure.

Two things trip people up at the Duomo. Rooftop access is not included with cathedral entry, and the Duomo Museum closes on Wednesdays, so a Wednesday combined pass wastes a component you paid for.
The prices we can confirm
- Duomo and Duomo Museum: €10 full price.
- Museum only: €5.
- Duomo Pass Lift, the combined ticket including the terraces by lift: €26.
A stairs version of the pass and standalone terrace tickets also exist, priced lower than the lift options. We are not quoting those figures because the cathedral’s public pages do not publish them outside the booking engine, and the numbers circulating on third-party sites disagree. Stairs or lift, decided at purchase
The two are separate products at separate prices, and you cannot switch on the day. Decide before you buy, not at the base of the steps.
Museum hours
Daily 10am to 7pm, last tickets 5.50pm, closed Wednesdays. Cathedral and terrace hours differ and are published separately.
