Berlin TV Tower Tickets: The Standard Ticket Still Queues

The Fernsehturm’s standard ticket is often sold as skip-the-line. It is not. It skips the ticket desk. You still queue for the lift. The tower says so itself.

If you are going at sunset or on a wet day — the two times everyone goes — that distinction is an hour of your life.

What removes the queue

  • Fast View, from €27.50 — straight to the observation deck, plus Bar 203. Oddly, this is sold through the official Berlin tourist board rather than the tower’s own shop, so you will not find it on tv-turm.de.
  • Any restaurant booking — those come with a guaranteed time slot and table.

Prices

  • Standard, including the new “Berlin’s Odyssey” VR experience: from €20.00, dynamic.
  • View & Drink: from €31.00.
  • Highest Breakfast €33.50, Highest Lunch €42.00, Schnitzel Lunch €52.00 — all redeemable until 4pm.

Some resellers quote “from €24.50” for standard entry. The tower’s own price is €20.00. Child and student rates are not published on its ticket pages.

The Berlin WelcomeCard gives 25% off. The Museum Pass Berlin does not cover it.

The revolving restaurant

Sphere, by Tim Raue, runs 9am to 11pm. A window table cannot be booked separately — there is no window-seat surcharge or guarantee published. The room rotates, so everyone gets the view eventually.

Deck and restaurant open 9am to 11pm daily. Closed 23 November 2026.
