Charlottenburg is not one ticket. The Old Palace and the New Wing are separate buildings with separate €12 tickets, so buying both costs €24.
The charlottenburg+ combined ticket is €19 and covers both, plus the New Pavilion and the Mausoleum, plus the special exhibition. Anyone seeing more than one building should never buy singles.
Prices
- Old Palace alone: €12 adult, €8 reduced
- New Wing alone: €12 adult, €8 reduced
- charlottenburg+: €19 adult, €14 reduced, €45 family (up to two adults and four under-18s), valid one day
Some of the garden buildings are seasonal, roughly April or May to October, so check what is open before paying for the combined ticket in winter.
Two things that catch people
- Closed Mondays.
- The Old Palace requires a timed slot, booked with your ticket. The New Wing does not.
Hours: April to October Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5.30pm; November and December to 4.30pm. Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
Closures this year: 2 September 2026 for a company meeting, 24 and 25 December, and limited hours on 31 December.
Note the Museum Pass Berlin does not cover Charlottenburg, even though it covers plenty of museums nearby.
